Then leading into the offshore industry with Sonat/Transocean as Senior Subsea Engineer. Multiple projects including the Richardson Semi, Rather Semi and drillship experience on the Discover 511/Noble Discoverer. Involved in long term projects with Shell Oil Company on the Auger TLP. Have been involved in all aspects of subsea drilling and completion in Project Management, Consulting and Training.

Subsea Consulting and Project Management services are customized to meet client needs. Subsea Specialties has provided consulting ranging from small task such as BOP refurbishments to larger undertakings such as offshore rig renovations, upgrading and hardware inspection.

Subsea Specialties also provides personnel to act in the capacity of operator’s representative supervising rig upgrades and operations. This has become an increasingly attractive option to major operators as downsizing has created excessive time demands on full time employees. Personnel are available for both short and long term assignments. Rotational contracts can be arranged for very long term projects. Subsea Specialties strives to afford clients the highest degree of professionalism and flexibility for Subsea Consulting and Project Management needs. Depending on client requirements, experts can be provided as needed in a spectrum of disciplines. A single individual or teams of mixed disciples can undertake work for Subsea Specialties. Our company conducts business on the underlying philosophy that the use of Subsea Specialties services will result in benefits to both our client and other parties involved.

Subsea Specialties conducts inspection, subsea consulting and project management as an independent unbiased third party. All data is treated as confidential and is available only to Subsea Specialties and client unless prior arrangement is made for provision of equipment data to OEM’s. Formal written reports together with supporting photographic records are presented to our client upon completion of each assignment.

Our subsea consulting and project management services are based on highly developed criteria with strict guidelines including all qualified factors defined by Original Equipment Manufacturers standard operating practices, engineering practices and requirements mandated by DNV, ABS, Lloyds, API, NACE, ASME, HSE, MIGAS, USCG, MMS, IMO MODU Code and SOLAS. Applicable local government regulations are included as needed. Specific client policy criteria such as standard Well Control knowledge are included upon request.
